As the semester comes to an end, we reflect on the progress RockServe has made on the Slippery Rock University campus. RockServe functions as a tool for SRU students, faculty, staff and community partners to utilize in order to track sign-ups, impacts and service hours. Check out the included infographics to see the most popular opportunities this year, the top five SRU campus groups for volunteer hours, the most active portals and the top classes for volunteer hours.
As RockServe’s presence has grown on campus it was time to see your thoughts on it. We asked the SRU community to take a survey in order to see the impact RockServe has had on campus. Some of the major themes around what people liked about RockServe included: ease of use, access for both community and campus organizations and availability of opportunities. We would also like to congratulate our user survey gift card winners: Olivia Kaminski, Ella McDonald, Stone Helsel and Davae Forrester.
With finals approaching, RockServe users are encouraged to seek support this summer (June – August) from the OCEL’s interim RockServe Graduate Assistant, Sam Lawton, at rockserve@sru.edu.
